Maximizing Results: What 10 Hours a Month with a Digital Marketing Virtual Assistant Can Achieve

In the dynamic world of digital marketing, time is a precious commodity. Solo entrepreneurs often find themselves stretched thin, juggling various tasks to maintain a strong online presence. However, the emergence of digital marketing virtual assistants has offered a lifeline to professionals looking to optimize their workflow and achieve more in less time. In this blog post, we will delve into what 10 hours a month working with a digital marketing virtual assistant can look like and how it can elevate your marketing game.

Hours 1 and 2: 1:1 Clients Calls

Each week, we’ll schedule a quick 1:1 call via Zoom for thirty minutes.

  1. Temperature Check: These weekly calls are imperative to keeping us connected and on the same page. It’s a vital component in building a collaborative relationship. We can extend these calls to an hour when needed.

Hour 3: Manage Our Progress

  1. Project Management: We will use Trello (or something similar of your choice) to manage all of the projects and tasks we’re working on together. This way, all of those details are taken out of our inboxes, allowing us to find details easily.

  2. Establish Priorities: Together, we will establish weekly goals and priorities. I’ll make note of the week’s focus and we’ll park all other ideas in a different column, to be pulled from once this week’s goals have been completed.

Hour 4: LinkedIn Article Publication

  1. Long Form Article: Depending on your industry, I always recommend starting off with a long form article on LinkedIn. When you include your SEO keywords in a 2,000 word article, it gets indexed on Google and ranks really well in a short period of time.

  2. Image and Caption Creation: We’ll select the right imagery for your LinkedIn article headers (one that can be used over and over again with simple adjustments to title

Hour 5: Blog Posts

We’ll repurpose that LinkedIn article and post it on your blog.

  1. Content Stretching: We use the term “stretching” because we’re extending the shelf life of your original LinkedIn article by repurposing it as a blog post.

Hour 6: Social Media

  1. Content Creation: We’ll continue to repurpose the LinkedIn article and blog post into social media posts using imagery. We can grab a quote from the article and craft a social media graphic from that. We can select a photo that speaks to the content and post it to Instagram and Facebook, using an excerpt as a caption. One long form LinkedIn article can give us a lot every month.

  2. Caption and Hashtag Crafting: Depending on the platform, we’ll craft captions that speak to your ideal client using an excerpt of the content and add 10-30 most relevant hashtags in your industry.

Hour 7: Monthly Newsletter

  1. Content Creation: We’ll continue to repurpose all of the social content we created for the past month and highlight it in a monthly newsletter for those who didn’t catch your posts in real time. We love newsletters because it gives our clients an opportunity to touch their existing database (and if you think you don’t have one, I’ll show you where it exists!).

Hours 8 - 10: Optional Projects

  1. Client Support: If you need a forward-facing gatekeeper to help you with some of your client communications, we could tend to your info@ email account or you can flag emails that need a general support response.

  2. CRM Development: We are big fans in workflow development. If you have these systems in place, we can continue to hone them with customized proposals, digitized contracts, and monthly invoicing. If you need them created, we’ll help you map them out.

  3. Search Engine Optimization: Let us implement some SEO best practices on your websites, either optimizing what’s already there or creating new optimized content for Google and Bing ranking.

  4. Analytics and Reporting: We’ll take a look at your monthly numbers, where you’re getting clicks, and focus on improving and increasing traffic. Let’s keep our eyes on the monthly reporting and tweak our approach based on those results.

Ten hours a month with a digital marketing virtual assistant can be transformative. By delegating tasks, streamlining processes, and harnessing data-driven insights, you can achieve more in less time. This newfound efficiency allows you to focus on strategic thinking and growth, ultimately leading to a stronger online presence and better results.

Whether you're a small business owner or a marketing professional, the partnership with a digital marketing virtual assistant is a wise investment that can elevate your marketing game and help you stay ahead in the competitive world of digital marketing.
